Stonecore Classic 7mm is an SPC (stone plastic composite) hybrid with 2mm acoustic underlay already attached, so no separate underlay is required. The specification is unusually complete for this category: a 25-year domestic and 10-year commercial warranty, an A+ environmental rating assessed against the Green Building Council of Australia, and approval for use over underfloor heating up to 27°C — worth checking before choosing any floor for a heated slab. Boards are wide at 228mm and 1524mm long with a 0.5mm wear layer, embossed finish and micro bevel edge, installed with a Unilin click as a floating floor. Eleven colours span Australian natives (QLD and NSW Spotted Gum, Smoked Spotted Gum, Classic Blackbutt, Tasmanian Oak) and contemporary neutrals (Arctic Grey, Dim Grey, Pale Oak, Urban Oak, Chelsea Oak, Lights Sand).
