Inovar Original is an 8mm hybrid floor backed by a 15-year warranty, which is the specification most worth knowing here — it tells you what the manufacturer expects the surface to withstand over time. It uses Inovar's Novarloc locking system, a click installation that joins board to board without glue or nails, so it can be laid over a prepared subfloor as a floating floor. The surface is wood embossed, meaning the texture follows the grain you can see rather than being a flat print, and the square edge profile gives a continuous floor rather than the grooved look of a bevelled board. Boards are 192mm wide and 1288mm long. The six colours lean warm and traditional: Country Oak, Valencia Oak and Taroko Oak for classic oak tones, Sumatran Teak and Glen Doussie for deeper timber character, and Santos Latte as the soft mid-brown.
